Welcome to Rushwave, a ministry dedicated to establishing believers in the Christian faith. I am the founder, Bert Davidson, and I would like to provide an overview of what we do here at Rushwave.
The Christian faith is comprised of an entire body of teachings about God, the hereafter, mankind, human nature, marriage, family, suffering, the future, and other everyday aspects of life. And the Christian faith draws these teachings from the Bible which is the word of God as revealed through the Israelite prophets, Jesus Christ Himself, and the apostles Christ commissioned. So when we say the mission of Rushwave is to establish believers in the Christian faith, we mean the mission is to make believers strong in these biblical teachings so they are not tossed about amidst the waves of false teachings, lies, and distortions from the world.
Rushwave fulfills its mission of edifying believers in five ways: publishing, Bible study groups, church planting, worship music, and an annual retreat. Lets look at each of these ministries.
The Publishing ministry publishes Bible teaching resources on Christian living, Bible books, and theology. We make all our publications available as print books (softcover and hardcover), e-books, audiobooks and videos. This allows believers to choose the media type most suitable to their setting and learning style. The format you see on this page of a built-in audio player, built-in video player, followed by text content is the format of all Christian resources on our site. Physical books, whether hardcover or softcover, are available globally at online or brick-and-mortar book stores.
The Bible Study Groups ministry provides in-person and online Bible studies for small groups. Each in-person small group consist of a host who manages meeting logistics and hospitality, and Rushwave which manages the Bible-teaching. Typically these groups correspond to our published or soon to be published works.
The Church Planting ministry seeks establish new churches through evangelism towards unbelievers. As the new converts gather regularly for worship, teaching and fellowship, in time a new, non-denominational, independent church is formally established with officers of Elders and Deacons being appointed.
The Worship Music ministry produces melodious, lyrically sound songs that glorify God. These songs are born of a heart transformed by the marvelous grace of God revealed in the gospel.
The Annual Retreat provides opportunity for like-minded believers to gather together for fellowship, worship, and teaching related to fulfilling one's God given call. The retreat is held at a national park or other scenic location that magnifies God through His creation. Rushwave designates the location and dates, and attendees make their own arrangements for lodging.
