When a church is planted, is it part of a denomination or association of churches?
First and foremost, the corporate entity Rushwave is neither a denomination or even a loosely affiliated church association. Any church we establish is the continuing object of care, as is appropriate. But Rushwave has absolutely no governmental or legal authority over any church it establishes; the church is entirely independent. And if at some point in the future after having been established that church determines to become part of a major denomination or association of churches, that is her corporate decision.
Can those involved in establishing the church continue on as resident pastors?
The decision as to whether a newly established church retain one of more of the church planters as resident pastors is entirely between those men and the local church.
